Land Rover Defenders are fun to spot in Europe. Some of them have been perfectly restored. Others have been well used over the years. This is a two-door pickup version carrying its spare tire on the hood (erm, or bonnet as they say). I can’t find any information about the stick of dynamite being sawed in half - but it makes the photo. Spotted while wandering the streets of Amsterdam.

The texture of the diamond plate under the panels is obvious, but what I didn’t spot until editing this photo is that there has been some lettering painted over on the door.
