There’s a bar above the resort town of Verbier called the Ice Cube. To access, take the Ruinettes gondola and you will be greeted by fantastic views, great drinks, food, and music. After, you can jump back on the gondola and head back to the town…this picture was taken after an afternoon at the Ice Cube just as the gondola leaves the relative darkness of gondola house and pops out for the journey down The Alps.

I love the dramatic landscape, the switchback hiking trails, and the infrastructure of the gondola itself.
