"POINT LOMA"

Taking off from San Diego International Airport toward the Pacific Ocean, when you take off on the runway 27 and sit on the left-side of the plane, AND you are in a window seat, you might catch this view of Point Loma. (If you sit on the right-side, you’ll see the west coast Marine Corps Recruit Depot…boot camp just before wheels up). I remember visiting Point Loma with my parents when I was a small child living in San Diego. This photo was taken on a flight back to Chicago after a sales pitch.

I love all the texture and colors in this photo. The waves, the buildings, the city streets, the hills in the distance, the beaches, the horizon, and different shades of blue and green in the ocean.
