Taken from Kaanapali on Maui looking toward Lanai. The island in the distance was a former pineapple plantation and is now 98% owned by Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle Corporation where I worked for a few years. Uncle Larry we called him.

I like the framing of the photo between the palm trees (of which you only see the trunks) and the texture of the Beach Naupaka.
